In 1999, I was given the opportunity to write on internet music collaboration for the now defunct <em>Next Music<\/em> magazine and it snowballed from there.<\/p>\n<p>I write primarily about technology (consumer technology, virtual worlds \/ virtual reality, music technology), gaming (MMOs, console gaming, parenting and gaming) and comics.<\/p>\n<p>I am currently completing a PhD looking at the use of virtual reality to improve the learning experiences of nurses.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve also been known to create <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stainlessfields.com\">my own music<\/a>\u00a0and play in a band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dreamwarriors.com.au\">with some great people<\/a>.
